The Uganda Project has been set up to acquire a number of Short Term Rental properties in Kampala and the surrounding areas and to advertise these on Airbnb and to take direct bookings. The target market will be tourists and business travelers. The ultimate goal of this project is to provide a business that will support a number of local people, enabling them to be able to provide for themselves and their families.
With all the current travel restrictions this project has some challenges but it will hopefully all come together during 2021.
Rebecca has already visited a number of properties and locations and will continue to do so over the coming months. We will post updates once we have something firm to shout about.
Updates
28th April 2021: Property Broker Timothy will be helping us to locate suitable properties
with owners who are willing to work with us and our arbitrage model.
July 2021: On lock down again until the end of the month so everything is on hold!
November 2021: We have decided to hold off on this project until 2022 due to covid
and the current security situation in the areas we are looking at.
